As the DMN reports the old-timey sign has come down. Real estate broker R.L. Ross said he was as big a fan of Prince’s as anyone. In so doing, he’s got the leading contender in the Quotes That Sound Like Country and Western Lyrics Contest:

“I hate to see it go, but it was already gone.”

Congrats, Mr. Ross. Let’s hope it holds up.
