MAYOR MILLER RECOGNIZES FIG

|

The fine folks at the Fashion Industry Gallery were recently recognized by the mayor doing a bang-up job. The FIG has done so well, in fact, that it will add 10,000 square feet onto a second level by October 2005. The full release:

On June 17, 2005, FIG’s (Fashion Industry Gallery) “core group”: Suzanne Collier, Jo Cobb, Julie Hall, Federico Mariel, Pam Martin, Greg Mider, Gavin Smith, and Larry Traub were recognized by Mayor Laura Miller for creating a one-of-a-kind specialty boutique fashion venue in the Fashion Industry Gallery and for bringing the excitement and historically important industry of fashion back to Downtown Dallas.

The special recognition noted that the Fashion Industry Gallery, located in the heart of the Arts District, is dedicated to revitalizing Downtown Dallas’ fashion industry roots. The new boutique wholesale fashion venue showcases the best in women’s contemporary bridge and sportswear, accessories, and better men’s, within a modern, high-design environment in the heart of Downtown. The Fashion Industry Gallery has struck a chord within the industry, bringing greater attention to Dallas from the fashion world. So many buyers have flocked to its 42 galleries, carrying over 100 new fashion lines not previously sold in Dallas, that the Fashion Industry Gallery will expand another 10,000 square feet onto a second level by October 2005.

The Fashion Industry Gallery is located at 1807 Ross Avenue, which is owned by Brook Partners, Inc.
