FBI GOING STRONG MAYOR ON FANTROY, HILL

|

Here’s my favorite part of the story today about the FBI’s probe. It’s about Don Hill’s car:

Mr. Hill told reporters Tuesday that he doesn’t own the 1998 BMW that FBI agents searched. The car is registered to Daniel Thorne of Garland, but Mr. Hill said that wasn’t the person who gave him the car. When asked who owned it, he declined to answer and became agitated.

“It’s not a buyout for a vote,” he said. “It’s a friend’s car–a car I earned the right to drive.”

Let’s see. It’s a friend’s car. But that friend has his car registered in someone else’s name. And the friend didn’t just loan the car to Hill. Hill earned it. It’s his right.

Adios, mofo.
