I’m a little late on this, I realize, but if you saw the highlight from Saturday’s 2-0 FC Dallas win over D.C. United you’ll understand why the news still merits mention. Carlos Ruiz, who’s the MLS Player of the Week and who gets an MRI today to make sure his ankle injury isn’t serious, scored an amazing bicycle goal from about 12 yards out. It was a thing of beauty. The description here doesn’t do it justice. I’m still looking for a video clip.
