DALLAS MOVIE DATABASE

|

This happens a lot. Someone sees a movie being shot someplace in town, and they send us a note asking what movie it is. This time we’re being proactive. If you see someone filming in Uptown or Downtown in a couple weeks, it’s Shroud of Echoes, a flick about terrorism. Here’s the skinny:

DALLAS, TX, JUNE 10, 2005: You’ve probably seen his face a million times. After all, GLENN MORSHOWER (Blackhawk Down, Pearl Harbor, Air Force One) has been acting for over 20 years in television and film. Later this month, he will be bringing his talent to Dallas to star as U.S. Marine Sergeant Ryan Wesloh in SHROUD OF ECHOES, a NetFilmz short. The film, written and directed by NetFilmz Founder Scot Hunt, explores modern terrorism through the eyes of Sergeant Wesloh. Shortly after his return home to Dallas from Iraq, Wesloh loses the love of his life, Nia, to a terrorist attack. Nia’s last message then becomes the mechanism by which Ryan plots his revenge on those who killed her.

“We are so fortunate to be working with Glenn. He understands human emotion on every level and will bring incredible depth to this character,” states Hunt. “Shroud of Echoes exposes the many emotional layers of grief and revenge that victims of terrorism are faced with.”

In addition to the NetFilmz project in Dallas, Glenn continues his ongoing roles on 24, CSI Miami, and King of the Hill. He recently wrapped filming All The Kings’ Men with Sean Penn, Goodnight, and Good Luck with George Clooney, and Bloodlines with Lou Diamond Phillips. In addition to his career as an actor, Glenn travels extensively as a motivational speaker with his program, The Extra Mile.

Shroud of Echoes is currently in the final stages of pre-production and will be shot the last week in June of 2005. The majority of the short will be filmed in Downtown and Uptown Dallas. For more information about NetFilmz, please visit www.NetFilmz.com.
