Just got an update from Mercury Grill chef Chris Ward who is still waiting to hear if he’s got the job as exec chef at the White House. Ward says, “Mrs. Bush’s secretary was nice enough to call me to tell me that it wouldn’t be this week because she [Mrs. B] is in Russia with the President.” He says he panics every time his caller id flashes “Caller Unknown.” He promised that FrontBurnervian Foodies would be the first to know.
