Some staffers have been out of town for a few days in Vegas. And, yes, it’s for work. They are attending the annual City and Regional Magazine Association Conference. Part of that conference is an awards ceremony, and our online “excellence” was a finalist. D dynamo David reports, “We won.” He said the “active blogging” (aka FrontBurner) was specifically mentioned. He also said that the first publisher to be name-dropped at the ceremony was our very own Wick Allison, in conjunction with our Trinity River special issue.
