Holiday Kocktail Class at Kitchen + Kocktails

Walk away from this mixology session with two tequila cocktails to add to your repertoire. The session begins at 7 p.m. with a Don Julio tequila tasting and will later include small bites with the cocktails. A Q&A session will wrap up the night. $89 per person. 1933 Elm St.

12 Wines of Christmas Wine Walk

Head to downtown McKinney for a festive wine walk, where tacky sweaters and holiday cheer are encouraged. A ticket comes with a souvenir wine glass, a glass lanyard, a whine passport, 12 wine tastings, plus a bonus tasting at Santa’s Wine Workshop. A VIP ticket bumps you up to 15 tastings. Dallas International Night Market

A holiday-themed international night market will include more than 50 vendors selling food, art, and goods from all over the world in the Dallas International District, which is near the former Valley View Mall. Tamales Day at the Dallas Farmers Market

More than 10 kinds of tamales will be available at the Dallas Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you’re looking for varieties like corn husk, banana leaf, traditional, vegan, and more, this is the stop you need to make this year before the season really picks up. Gingerbread House Decorating & Tea

Bring the kiddos a gingerbread house decorating session to get into the holiday sport. Seasonal cocktails and ginger and black teas will be available to sip on alongside small bites at The Crescent Hotel. Tequila and Tamales: Masterclass at Catbird

Need tamales for Christmas? Catbird inside the Thompson Hotel is hosting a tequila and tamales masterclass just in time. Three seatings are available for sessions with the hotel’s executive chef team lead you through making tamales from scratch with a tequila tasting. $120 per person. 1401 Elm St.
