CraftWorks Kitchen to open in Plano:
This is not a German band that formed in 1970 and popularized electronic music. I know you were probably super confused as to what they’re doing in Plano, Texas. I mean, they did play the Bomb Factory three years ago. But I’m fairly certain they’re in Sweden this month, and not a city 20 miles north of Dallas. Also, they spell their name with a K and not a C. This joke is not landing. I’m officially embarrassed.

Some straight-up facts about CraftWorks Kitchen:

  • The restaurant space is 3,100 square feet
  • The fare is modern American
  • There’s lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch
  • The restaurant will open at Plano’s LakeSide Market (5809 Preston Rd. Ste. 578) in October

CiboDivino is clearing their cellar:
This is a big wine sale. Starting next week, CiboDivino is selling wines with values up to $60 for $9.99 to $29.99. The sale opens to CiboDivino newsletter subscribers on Monday, August 19 and then to the public on Thursday, August 23.

Good Union BBQ opens at The Boardwalk at Granite Park:
The new fast-casual restaurant offers smoked brisket, pulled pork shoulder, spare ribs, glazed ham, burnt ends, pepper turkey, and more.

According to the press release:

Menu favorites include “Pig Mountain,” a barbecue sandwich with pulled pork, glazed ham, bacon, link sausage, pickles, and onions and the “Train Wreck,” a double burger with green chili queso, jalapeño pintos, and blistered peppers. Breakfast will be served seven days a week and includes tacos, quesadillas, breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy and the “Big Start” with eggs, choice of meats, fried potatoes and a warm buttered biscuit. Desserts include Ms. Kim’s Banana Pudding, cooked to order Handmade Fried Pies and a bag of Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies that are baked fresh throughout the day.

Good Union also offers frozen margaritas and a wide selection of beers from local breweries for people to enjoy on the patio for happy hour.
