Everybody clap!

Stop what you’re doing right now, this very second. Halt. Detener. Arrêtez. Freeze. OK, don’t stop breathing. Keep doing that. And if you’re eating a handful of almonds, I guess you can keep doing that. Just make sure your attention is focused here. On these words. Because I have news. Big. Fat. News.

Mi Cocina Highland Park Village will reopen tomorrow after closing for nearly two months. That’s practically the entire summer.

They’ve remodeled. It should be cool. You can read about the redesign here.

Have a nice day.

Update: I just received word from Mi Cocina’s PR team that there have been some construction delays. Their statement: “We just received news that there have been some construction delays. The reopening of Mi Cocina will not be tomorrow. The restaurant will be functional Thursday at noon just in time for lunch.”
