The Scoop: Vegan Pizza, Moldy Cake Pops, and More

Greenville Avenue Pizza Co. is serving vegan pizza: The casual Lower Greenville pizza spot is offering an animal-free pie called The Vegan. It has marinara sauce, grilled eggplant, spinach, artichokes, green olives, fresh garlic, and oregano. They’re also offering a cauliflower crust. They also-also have some new pastas. These are made with animals. There’s penne with grilled chicken, prosciutto, and Alfredo sauce. There’s also penne with grilled chicken, Roma tomatoes, and pesto sauce.

Eno’s Pizza Tavern is turning 11 and celebrating with some throwback menu items: From July 11 until July 21 you can order off the Bishop Arts restaurant’s throwback menu, which includes their Pantry Pub Boy Sandwich served on a hoagie roll with chicken salad, mayonnaise, onion, celery, olives; the Central Pie with pancetta, goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and a rosemary garnish; and the Anniversary Dessert Pizza, which is topped with pecan streusel, Texas peaches, blueberries, and honey-vanilla ricotta.
