July 21 is National Ice Cream Day. Woo. Hoo. I mean, celebrating things can be fun. But I feel like you should eat whatever you want, whenever you want to eat it. Within reason, of course. But I eat for a living, so what do I know.

Bisous Bisous Pâtisserie, the French-style bakery in the West Village is making ice cream for the occasion. They’re offering a line of house-made ice creams, which come in four rotating flavors, and are available by the cup for $6.50. They’re also offering croissant waffle ice cream sandwiches (ice cream sandwiched between croissant waffles), and ice cream-shaped macarons.

The specials are available on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21.

Also, according to the release:

In addition, macarons in ice cream-inspired flavors – mint chocolate chip, Neapolitan, and cookies and cream – and adorable miniature sundae drip ice cream cakes will be offered throughout the month of July. The Sammies will be returning on Friday, August 2 for National Ice Cream Sandwich Day when Bisous’ beloved food truck, Rendezvous, will be making a cameo appearance in front of the West Village location from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.
