25,000-square-foot restaurant/sports bar/arcade Hero opened last month in Victory Park. You can read our take on it here.

Danyele McPherson, who is culinary director and executive chef of 80/20 Hospitality Group (HG Sply Co., Gung Ho, Standard Service, and Hero), has put together a brunch menu for the spot.

“We wanted to put together a brunch menu that was both indulgent and healthy at the same time to give a broader array of options to our guests,” says McPherson in a statement.

“Brunch is more often than not a communal meal so the menu was created to satisfy every friend and family member in the group…we have light options like the dragon fruit smoothie bowl, strawberries and coconut cream oatmeal, egg white omelet, or our HG Breakfast of Champions plate. We have southern brunch staples like shrimp and grits, smoked ham steak and have brought back the corn-fried bread, which was a Remedy favorite. The food is fun, fresh, and just like HG, offers plenty of choices for all diner’s lifestyles.”

Cool cool. We’ll be checking it out.

Brunch runs Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
