The dish you see may just be one of the greatest things I ever ate – the Fried Chicken & Grits from @rye_mckinney. Chicken thighs are brined in sweet tea 😱 and then fried perfectly. Then the placed the chicken on a bed of cheddar corn grits, roasted jalapeño gravy and topped with a poached egg. 😍Each bite was a spiritual experience. I kept looking at the fork like “Jesus, this is why you died.” 😂 It spoke to my soul and reminded me why I love food. Maybe that sounds dramatic, but that’s just what food means to me. So tell me below – what’s one of the best things you’ve ever are?

One of the ~best~ brunches can be found at @halcyondallas! I seriously love this place, y’all! Their Iced Lavender Latte is definitely on my Top 3 Lattes in Dallas List (and I’ve drank a lot of lattes)!
