One of the best ways to scope out hot new restaurants and food trends in Dallas is by following area eaters, chefs, and food snobs on Instagram. We’re going to feature a handful of local ‘gramers each week on SideDish. Because it’s fun to see what other people are eating.

Its EARTH day people! 🌏 Get outside, play outside but most importantly get some nature in your drink tonight! 🌷🍃💐🌿 Look at my fun and fresh flowers and leaves that I used to garnish one of my faves! Vodka with Pink Lemonade 🍋! Check out your local farmers market, plant store or even grocery or hardware store, most will have fresh plants and flowers out this time of year, grab some to garnish and you’re SET! Enjoy 😊 • •• •• #vodka #spring #springhassprung #lemonade #nature #succulents #winetasting #winery #champagneblonde #cocktails #drinkart #downtowndallas #victorypark #nightout #dallas #dallastexas #dtown #bigd #uptown #uptowngirl #greenville #dallas #dallasnightlife #dallasfoodie #knoxhenderson #cocktaildecor #livingmybestlife #cocktails #drinkart #cocktails #wine #cocktaildecor #winenight #winetasting #winelover #winenight #winebabes

Word is getting out about @detourdoughnuts in Frisco. I visited yesterday and the small shop was literally packed wall-to-wall with a line stretching out the door. But I had to get my hands on some of their current seasonal flavors. As expected, they did NOT disappoint. My personal favs were the taro coconut cream, orange mimosa, and the beet ricotta (an homage to the great @thedoughnutproject, which I recently visited in NYC). I have a feeling with this current lineup, this place will only become more popular. If you’re going on the weekend, I’d highly recommend you get there early if you want to try the seasonals, as they’ve been known to sell out of some flavors by late morning. Pictured (L-to-R, top to bottom) Lemon tart, Orange mimosa, Chocolate wasabi, Blueberry cardamom, Banana pudding (complete with DIY caramel pipette, kewt), Beet ricotta, Thai tea, Lemon poppyseed, Taro coconut. #dallasdonuttour
