One of the best ways to scope out hot new restaurants and food trends in Dallas is by following area eaters, chefs, and food snobs on Instagram. We’re going to feature a handful of local ‘gramers each week on SideDish. Because it’s fun to see what other people are eating.

Good Morning 🌞😊⁣ ⁣ Just over here enjoying a warm, loaded bowl of chocolate oatmeal. It's raining and pretty cold here in North Dallas, I'm so ready for spring; I already started planting herbs. Don't worry though they're in jars inside. ⁣ I've been sharing progress pictures of the little projects I've been working on around the house; I can't believe the end of this month marks a year since we moved back. Time is flying and I have so much to do still in every room. I really can't wait to share it all.⁣ ⁣ Speaking of sharing, it's been tough keeping up with Instagram lately 🙈 so I'm sorry if I didn't reply to your comments or DMs. ⁣ ⁣ I'm so thankful for how much this account has grown and the unexpected direction it's going 🙏 I love sharing recipes, knowledge, hacks, tips, my routine through stories, and supporting other bloggers, but the truth is that's it's time consuming; it starts to take away from my family. At the same time, I need to step up my game, create more recipes, start doing videos…..the dilemma 🤦⁣ All I can do is focus on what I can control. I need to make a few changes to my routine, manage time efficiently; yet keep family a priority. I know it will get easier once the girls start school but in the meantime your tips are welcome 😚⁣ ⁣ 👩‍🍳 DEats: I boiled a cup of homemade milk @elliesbest (Code: RAYNBOW), added 3 tbsp Hot cocoa @coconut.cloud (Code: RAYNBOWEATS), used 1/2 cup rolled oats @quaker, dash of cinnamon, a pinch of salt, and cook covered for about 5 minutes. Topped with kiwi rose, raspberries, dried banana slices, honey coated pecans, almond butter, and almond bar I made last week with the pulp of the homemade almond milk. So Delish!⁣ ⁣ I hope you have a wonderful Saturday 😁 ⁣

“Friday I’m in love” 🎵🎶 with this ALL goat cheese board. I kept it simple with @cypressgrovers humbolt fog, @vermontcreamery Everything goat cheese @montchevre Brie and @joseph_heler goat cheddar. This was a fun smaller board to put together for a group of moms. I also had @friendincheesesjamco , some @driscollsberry , @34degrees_ crackers and @savannahbeeco honey comb. Are you making a cheese board this weekend?? Happy Friday!
