BRUNCH TIME 🥞 and it’s a coffee ☕️ and downtown Dallas kinda vibes today @ottoscoffee . Ottos is a “Viennese-style” cafe adjacent to the @theadolphushotel , that serves locally sourced coffee and easy to grab meals. It’s a prime spot if you’re deep in the city and need a quick latte. Pictured is the (insta-famous) waffle which is actually the size of your head and already has a maple syrup taste. lol located on Commerce & Main, check them out if you are deep in the city 🌃 #waffle #maplewaffle #coffee #coffetime #cafe #viennastyle #dallascoffeeshop #ottoscoffee #ottoscoffeeandfinefoods #theadolphus #brunch #brunchsunday #dallasbrunch #dallasbreakfast #sundayfunday #brunchvibes #brunchsquad #dallas #dallastx #dallasfoodie #dallaseats #dallasinsta #dfw #dfweats #dfwfoodie #dallasblogger #ilovemycity #karliedoesdallas #doingdallasthings

Week #50: “Volcano” Pasta . Homemade Fettuccine, “Volcano” topping (bay scallops, salmon, and other sauces/spices), Roe, and Scallions. . Sooooo this was not what I wanted to do for today’s dish since the special ingredient I wanted wasn’t available today…😭 BUT this turned out pretty yummy! On top of that… This is my 3rd time making fresh pasta and I AM SO HAPPY!!!!! It’s not the best yet, but it was a 100% improvement from the first time I made pasta! I avoided it like the plague for the longest time, but I figured “don’t be a bitch, Dan… just make the pasta…” and here I am; happy as can be😁😁😁 2 MORE WEEKS UNTIL MY 2018 NEW YEARS RESOLUTION OF SUPER ULTRA MEGA COOKING EXTRAVAGANZA IS OVER! It’s bitter sweet, but I’ve learned so much from this year. Furthermore, I would never trade every mistake I’ve made or every success I’ve created for the world. I’m ready to show you guys some powerhouse dishes next year JUST YALL WAIT🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Your week deserves pillowy, soft everything bagel savory rolls. ____ I made everything bagel pull apart breads a couple months ago and they were so popular with friends and you all that I just had to make another version. They’re both so good – I suggest you try it both ways! ____ December goes by way too fast in my opinion. I thought I was ahead of my Christmas shopping game several weeks ago, but now I’m definitely falling behind. Anyone else or just me? Send help and cookies! ___ EVERYTHING BAGEL ROLLS – CREAM CHEESE and TOPPING Mix 1 1/2 8oz package softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened), 1/4 cup chopped chives, and 1/4 cup chopped shallots in a bowl. Spread on the rolled out dough ( I used a cinnamon roll dough recipe or you can buy store-bought, but I highly recommend making from scratch!) leaving 1/2 around edges. Sprinkle everything but the bagel seasoning (make sure it’s one with salt. If not, add kosher salt) all over in one layer. Roll the dough into a long log starting with the shorter end and slice 3/4-1 inch thick. Place rolls in 9×13 greased pan and let the dough rise some more. Meanwhile, mix 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons everything but the bagel seasoning. Spread all over top of rolls and bake at 350F for 20-27 min or until slightly brown on edges. Top with more melted butter and sprinkle of flakey kosher salt to finish. . . . . . #everythingbagel #everythingbutthebagel #dinnerrolls #breakfast #traders #makesmewhole #surlatable #todaybreakfast #thecookfeed #thebakefeed #thenewhealthy #realsimple #tohfoodie #imsomartha #dallasfoodie #foodblogfeed #mypinterest #kitchn #everydayibt #feedfeed #bhgfood #tastingtable #bareaders #holidaybaking #mywilliamssonoma #cinnamonrolls #eeeeeats @food52 @thefeedfeed @foodblogfeed @pinterest @thekitchn
