The Theodore has closed according to the Dallas Morning News. The restaurant opened in 2016 and was named one of our best new restaurants of the year.

Dining critic Eve Hill-Agnus wrote:

“Tumble inside Tim Byres’ Teddy Roosevelt-inspired homage to turn-of-the-century glamour at NorthPark Center, and it’s almost like you’re in some rich eccentric’s parlor…Certain early dishes could make you feel like a lady who lunched. A triumph of a roasted pheasant salad came beguilingly dressed, with a light crunch from shredded Napa cabbage and complex flavors that knew more than they gave away.”

They served an excellent brunch, had a fun cocktail program, and used to offer a really, really delicious white bean toast which disappeared from the menu way too soon.

According to the DMN, a spokesperson from NorthPark Center stated that they plan to bring a new concept to the space.
