Get Ready for DFW Restaurant Week 2018

The fine-dining bonanza has new tricks up its sleeve.

We know you jump at the first announcement of Restaurant Week. Here it is. This year, in its 21st iteration, DFW Restaurant Week will officially kick off the week of Aug. 13-19, with a record number of restaurants, preview dates, extended weeks, and casual restaurants joining the fray in a new campaign dubbed DFW Restaurant Week Specialty Bites.

Every meal supports charity partners the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) or Lena Pope.

Here is the cue to mark your calendars: dining reservations will go live when the official list of participating restaurants is unveiled on “Reservation Day,” Monday, July 16, at

DFW Restaurant Week begins the week of August 13-19, with many restaurants extending participation for additional weeks, through August 26 or Labor Day, September 3. Select restaurants also offer a head start on the dining with Preview Weekend, August 10-12.  Diners can experience a different scene and cuisine each day with nearly 150 restaurants across the Metroplex, spanning Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton counties. Participating restaurants offer three-course prix fixe dinners for either $39 or $49, or two-course lunches for just $20. Twenty percent of the price of each meal is donated directly to the North Texas Food Bank or Lena Pope.

DFW Restaurant Week Specialty Bites – NEW!

New this year, casual dining restaurants will also join in the campaign with DFW Restaurant Week Specialty Bites. Whether a signature sandwich or other signature dish, participating restaurants will offer a unique item with 10 percent of the price donated to one of the charity partners.
