Cooper’s Meat Market, an upscale butchery from San Antonio, is now open at Sylvan Thirty. Michael Johnson, along with business partner Victoria Berezina, has expanded his family’s 20-plus-year-old company to Dallas.
The 3,100-square-foot space, located at 778 Fort Worth Ave., offers high-quality cuts of poultry, fish, beef, and more. They’re also carrying a selection of grab-and-go dishes, appetizers, and sides. Chef Kenny Mills, who has worked at Chop House Burger, Capital Grille, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, and Dallas Chop House is overseeing the menu. Cooper’s also offers beer and wine to sip on-site and to take with you.
While the grand opening isn’t until April 30, the shop is undergoing a soft opening, and has a limited selection of menu items available. They’re also offering delivery to West Dallas, Oak Cliff, Uptown, Highland Park, University Park, and Lakewood as well as a catering service for up to 300 guests.
