Go. Nosh. Feel good about the cause.

Perhaps these names ring a bell: Sharon Hage, Tiffany Derry, Dunia Borga, Paula Lambert, Joanne Bondy, Janice Provost. They’re some of the women who shaped, and continue to shape, the Dallas culinary landscape. They also have in common membership in Les Dames d’Escoffier International, an organization devoted to fostering female pursuits in the culinary, wine, fine beverage, and hospitality industries through scholarships.

Last year, the Dallas Chapter’s annual fundraising party was titled “A Dame Good Party.” This year, the party held on March 4 will go under the moniker “A Super-Dame Good Party” (in keeping with the recent release of Wonder Woman). The theme is “The Wonder Women of Les Dames d’Escoffier and the Superheroes Who Paved the Way.” The honored participants will be announced soon.

The fundraiser is always a chance to brush elbows with the women who have shaped the field—and to nosh on food and sip beverages at stations overseen by some of the top female chefs, restauranteurs, sommeliers, spirit-makers, and other culinary artisans of North Texas.

Go. Feel good about what you’re supporting. And have a super-dame good time.
