One of the best ways to scope out hot new restaurants and food trends in Dallas is by following area eaters, chefs, and food snobs on Instagram. We’re going to feature a handful of local ‘gramers each week on SideDish. Because it’s fun to see what other people are eating.

My first pizza in about sixty days. Home made. With @simplemills pizza dough flour mix, #plantparadox compliant (also paleo, vegan, gum free, dairy free and soy free). Topped with home made pesto, buffalo mozzarella, kalamata olives, red onion, prosciutto di Parma, home made raspberry sauce and oregano. Served with red @riojawine. My husband (who is not following any diet, and eats quite a lot of pizza, and he is not that impressed with my food in general) said this is the best pizza he's ever had. πŸ˜‡Then added, maybe these are big words, but I love it πŸ™ˆ. It was good, so good I had too much of it, tomorrow I'll certainly have to get very active. πŸ€ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ’ƒπŸ» – – #theplantparadox #lectinfree #lectinfreediet #paleopizza #glutenfreepizza #prosciuttodiparma #healthydiet #realfood #homemadefood #madefromscratch #homemadepesto #homemadepizza #homecooking #redwine #foodismedicine #createmore #createmoreconsumeless #godtmed #manancasanatos #dallasfoodie #dallaspizza #foodphotography #guthealth

The only thing hotter than this chicken is my new found love for @hooklineplano – A brand new restaurant that recently open up at the @boardwalkgranitepark in Plano. They're serving up some low country seafood boil, char grilled oyster, a raw bar with ceviche and shellfish cocktails. Even if you're not a big fan of seafood. πŸ˜› – Don't worry my amazing friend and favorite Chef @heardchefnelly created a menu that's well rounded but still stay true to who they're as a restaurant like this Gulf Coast Hot Chicken it's motherclucking good! I dare you to eat the whole thing and pretend it doesn't hurt. Just don't cry! 😭🀣 They also have this mouthwatering delicious Low Country Chop – a bourbon maple glazed bone-in pork porter house, with chipotle sweet potato mash, collard greens and corn bread! Whatt?!!! *drooling* πŸ˜‹πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜ – Wait… I almost forgot to mention that they have a full bar with a nice spacious patio. So whether you decide to dine in to grab a quick lunch bite or simply to kick back after a long day from work. This is the spot to do it! I promise you'll get HOOK! πŸ€—πŸ˜‹πŸ˜Š #hosted πŸ“: @hooklineplano | πŸ“·:@foodwithmonica – TAG A FRIEND TO TRY THIS WITH
