The Radical Hospitality Group (RHG), the restaurant team behind LSA Burger Co., Barley & Board, Earl’s 377 Pizza, and Bumbershoot Barbecue, is opening a new concept on the top floor of the Wells Fargo Building in downtown Denton. Sunago Bell will feature a seafood-focused menu that’s “inspired by the cuisines in Spain, Italy and France.”

According to the release:

RHG, whose principal partners are John ‘Sparky’ Pearson, Earl Herrington and Steve Watkins, have signed a lease with building owner Jack Bell Property Management for the eighth floor of the building located at 101 South Locust Street, Denton, TX–a 5,500 square foot space currently under construction. This new enterprise will seat approximately 150 guests, encompassing the entire eighth floor, providing unrestricted views, north, east and west.

An additional feature that will be built for the new concept is an elevator that will be solely dedicated for patrons as well as restaurant staff. Plans are currently underway to build the new structure on the east side of the building, providing guests with an exclusive entryway to what is promised to be the best view in downtown Denton.

“101 South Locust is one of those rare buildings that has earned itself a spot as a Denton icon,” says Bell. “I was originally drawn to this property with business dealings over the last dozen years as well as its one-of-a-kind location. With Sparky and his team creating a new vision on the space for the restaurant, I am certain that it will be nothing short of extraordinary.”

Sunago Bell is slated to open in summer 2018.
