Last week, we mentioned that a rotisserie and fried chicken concept, Farmbyrd, is open in Plano. News comes today that another fried chicken concept will soon open north of 635.
According to the release:
“Chicken Moto, a full-service Korean-inspired fried chicken restaurant, will open to the public for dinner service on Wednesday, February 22, with lunch being added a week later. Located at 2069 N. Central Expressway in Richardson, owners husband and wife/chef duo Sandy and Greg Bussey, Steve Shin and Sam Osee (all of bbbop Seoul Kitchen) describe it as Texas Southern comfort meets South Korean Seoul food. The building that houses Chicken Moto was an auto repair shop before the team converted it into a full service restaurant with bar. Co-owner Osee explains, ‘I love motorcycles, beers and fried chicken. These are perhaps the pure joys of my life outside of faith and family. Why not have great fried chicken and drink some cold beer in a place that feels comfortable and inviting.'”
Here’s a look at the menu:
Chicken Moto is located at 2069 N. Central Expressway, Ste. 200. The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.
