Ever since the Adolphus closed The French Room for renovation, the PR folks have been very quiet. They are guarding the new look and food and sending info out in tiny spurts. Today they busted out a big press release announcing Michael Ehlert, the talented man who has somewhat quietly built a solid reputation in Dallas during his stints at Front Room Tavern and Hibiscus.
Ehlert also had a brief association with Bailey’s Prime Steakhouse, where his wife Jennifer Jaco was sommelier, when he cheffed for owner Ed Bailey’s The Chesterfield down town. He also thrilled diners briefly at CampO Modern Country Bistro in Oak Cliff.

Downtown is getting fancy. Bruno Davillion is getting ready for his close up when he debuts his new spot Bullion. Both are scheduled for spring openings.
