Two More Restaurant Closures: Hoffbrau Steaks and Bridge Bistro

Many restaurants close at the end of the year.

I was cruising down Riverfront Boulevard the other day and noticed Bridge Bistro was no longer. Turns out owner Kay Agnew closed last July. I guess I missed that one. Her website promises “that the Bridge Bistro will re-open at a later date with a new look and a revamped patio!” I swear owner/chef Kay Agnew has moved more restaurants around than Avner Samuel in the 30 years she’s been in business.

An eagle-eyed reader sends a picture of a closed sign in the door of Hoffbrau Steaks in the West End. It reads:

The Hoffbrau Steaks in the West End right by the Dallas Entrepreneur has closed its doors after 23 years.

Their Facebook page confirms:

Thank you for 23 Wonderful Years! We have unfortunately closed our doors at Westend and want to thank all of our guests for the loyal support you have shown us for the past 23 years.
