The December issue just hit newsstands, and with it my list of the 10 best new restaurants of 2016. As I wrote in the opener, it was a banner year in which some of our best chefs in town opened restaurants that have not only invigorated our palates, captivated our minds, and also contributed to the dynamism animating diverse parts of the city (Deep Ellum, the new Maple Avenue dining district, downtown). Take stock. Gather friends. And then go forth and dine!
