Café Brazil on Cedar Springs Rd. is relocating to a larger space. The casual, Dallas-based restaurant and coffee house has been at its original 3847 Cedar Springs Rd. location since 1999, and is moving to 3851 Cedar Springs Rd., right next door.

The address listed on the press release is where Thai Lotus Kitchen and the old Liquid Zoo spaces are located. Café Brazil’s PR rep says that they’re definitely taking over where Liquid Zoo used to be, but nothing will happen to Thai Lotus. I called the cozy Thai restaurant for a comment, and they assured me that “they will stay open.”

According to Café Brazil’s press rep, the new 3,400-square-foot restaurant will be a more current embodiment of their eclectic vibe.

“Our Cedar Springs location is an integral part of our history, eclectic vibe and presence in the [Dallas] area,” says Brant Wood, CEO of Café Brazil. “It is a neighborhood we want to continue to serve for years to come, and so we were thrilled when a location next door became a long-term opportunity.”
