Henry’s Majestic Turns Two
This Thursday, celebrate Henry’s Majestic’s second year of serving delicious eats and killer cocktails. The public is invited to party with the Henry’s Majestic family, devour a pig roast feast at 5 p.m., and enjoy musical guest, Armstead. To make the birthday even more complete, there will be a signature birthday shot and scrumptious cake at 8 p.m. (This will be one of the few two-year-old parties that involves drinking. See you there!)

Friday, October 21
Oktoberfest at Granada
October is coming to an end, folks. Time to release your inner German at one of the last Oktoberfest celebrations in Dallas this season. Head to Sundown at Granada on Lower Greenville and enjoy their rooftop view with a homemade brat in your hand. Dress in Oktoberfest gear, and get ready to slurp up delicious German beer.

Fall Appetizers Demonstration at Empire Baking Co.
Needing the perfect starter plates or finger foods for your guests this fall season? Grab your chef hats, because Empire Baking Company in North Dallas is partnering with Stonewall Kitchen and teaching all kinds of appetizer secrets. The menu includes small plates such as cranberry-horseradish and turkey mini-paninis; maple pumpkin butter whipped cream in phyllo cups with slivered almonds; roasted garlic onion jam with goat cheese and chives; and corn salsa with tortilla chips. Release your inner chef, people.

Saturday, October 22
Texas Veggie Fair
If you are a vegetarian or just a veggie lover, there is a festival headed your way that you won’t want to miss. This Saturday, Reverchon Park is hosting a celebration of all things vegetables. Crunch on some veggies and sip on brews at the beer garden while you learn about plant-based lifestyles.

Pumpkins on the Plaza and Glow Party at City Hall Plaza
Are your little ones overly antsy and excited to put on their Disney halloween costumes? Oh, your little one already sleeps in his Toy Story costume, huh? Sounds like you’ve got to take them to Pumpkins on the Plaza to let their Halloween flags fly. The day starts at 4 p.m. with plenty of activities for the entire family. There’s hayrides, games, live music, a costume contest, and pumpkin decorating. Get in the spirit of Halloween and take your little princesses and Darth Vaders to Dallas Hall this Saturday.

Operation Kindness’ Dog Day Afternoon
We all love our dogs—some of us even call it an obsession. We each claim to have the cutest, fluffiest, smartest, four-legged vacuum cleaner of them all. #PuppyPride. Celebrate your love for your pup this weekend at Operation Kindness’ Dog Day Afternoon. At this free event, the goal will be to set a new world record for the largest dog cake (delicious and adorable). All canine attendees can be entered in a contest, enjoy doggy pools, and dig into a slice of the dog-friendly cake. Meanwhile, we humans can enjoy food trucks, goodie bags, vet advice, and more.

Sunday, October 23
Pug-O-Ween
Love Pugs? The Grapevine Convention Center is hosting a Pug-O-Ween where your pugs can run around in costumes. Believe it or not, this is the 20th year that DFW Pug Rescue has put on this event. It includes a pug race, silent auctions, good food, and pet vendors.

All weekend
