Losers

Mortals Who Live in Dallas
Not only is the Dallas City Council going to bail out rich Uncle Bob, it apparently can’t find enough money in the couch cushions to do more to help the city’s poor. If that weren’t bad enough, the murder rate has spiked this year. -106,000

Enrique Arochi
More than two years after Christina Morris disappeared from the Shops at Legacy in Plano, the last man seen with her has been found guilty of her aggravated kidnapping. -60

Coppell ISD
The school district is having to defend itself against a lawsuit brought because of the lack of Asian-American representation on its board of trustees. -41

Blue Bell
The ice cream company had to issue another recall, this time for cartons of its chocolate chip cookie dough flavor. -082618226

Arteries
The State Fair of Texas released a list of many more fried treats that will be available for purchase when the event kicks off next week. It is not for the faint of stomach. Is “Loaded Bacon Mashed Potato Egg Roll” a dish or a Mad Lib? -30
