The Dallas restaurant community is organizing two events to honor the police officers who lost their lives last Thursday and raise some money to benefit their families. More than 20 chefs have signed up for the efforts that will  donate 100% of the monies to community outreach and to the families of the police officers.

The Giving Table at The Highland, hosted by John Tesar and Allyson Aynesworth, is scheduled for Friday, July 22 from 6-10pm. Dinner and drinks are $50 per person. $100 buys a ticket for you and a police officer. Tickets are here.

The Giving Table at Trinity Groves, hosted by Sharon Van Meter, Katherine Clapner and Lisa Moore, will be Sunday, July 31, also from 6-10pm. This family-style dinner event includes a silent auction and entertainment. Tickets are $65 per person, and tickets may be purchased here.
