We heard rumblings over the weekend that Cody Sharp is no longer the executive chef at popular Deep Ellum restaurant Filament. After a string of unanswered messages, phone calls, and texts with Sharp and restaurant owner Matt McCallister we finally received this statement from McCallister:

“As of this past weekend, Cody Sharp is no longer involved with Filament. Cody played a strong part of our opening staff, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors. We’ve built an incredibly capable team and are fully confident that we will continue to offer the modern Southern cuisine our guests have come to know and love. Josh Sutcliff, FT33 Chef de Cuisine, will be in the Filament kitchen for the foreseeable future.”

We have yet to hear from Sharp.
