Screen Shot 2016-03-28 at 9.22.36 AMOn March 15 a fire destroyed the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, and tragically, more than 70 animals lost their lives. It’s a very sad story. On March 21, Jay Jerrier, dog lover and owner of Cane Rosso, donated 100 percent of the restaurant’s Deep Ellum sales to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas. The restaurant raised $20,000, according to Cane Rosso’s Facebook page.

Now, another local business is stepping up to help the Beaumont shelter reach its goal of $800,000. Popular Northeast Dallas restaurant and bowling alley Bowl & Barrel will donate 100 percent of its bowling sales on Tuesday, March 29 to the shelter.

Looking for an excuse to go bowling on a Tuesday night? Here’s your chance. Do it for the pups.
