Are you ready for “twisted farm food?” Plano’s Preston Park Village (northwest corner of Preston Road and West Park Boulevard) will soon welcome the first Texas location of this restaurant noted for its “fun, lighthearted dining experience…which “offers traditional comfort food dishes spiced up with bold flavors and offbeat, over-the-top presentations.”

The San Diego-based restaurant currently operates ten units in Las Vegas, Reno, Chicago, Orlando, and Connecticut. A quick look at the menu of the San Diego location reveals a wide range of breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections. The breakfast choices include 7 styles of hash. No not Moroccan, all kinds of stuff cooked together with potatoes. One example is a mishmash of meatloaf, roasted red peppers, fresh spinach, and smoked mozzarella.

Sandwiches, stuffed burgers, salads, hashes, and “Indian Favorites fill out the dance card at lunch. Founder Andy Beardslee was raised in Indiana and his plan calls for “incorporating farm-fresh ingredients and generous portions.”

Dinner calls for hand-hammered pork, fried chicken, and (trending) breakfast for dinner. Expect to hash over the choices in “March or April 2016.”
