Chef Jeramie Robison to Start at Uchi on Wednesday

Expect the same delicious fare.

Uchi Dallas announced today that chef Jeramie Robison will rejoin the “Uchi family” as chef de cuisine following Nilton “Junior” Borges’ departure.

Robison worked at Uchi Austin in 2012, and was appointed chef de cuisine in 2013 before moving to Dallas and becoming executive chef at Shinsei in 2015. According to the release:

Originally from Ruston, Louisiana, Robison graduated from culinary school and began working at the Mansion on Turtle Creek. From there, Robison took over as Executive Chef at the posh Cinq restaurant inside the Colombe D’or Bed-and-Breakfast in Houston. Before joining the Uchi Austin team, he was honored as one of Houston’s Star Chefs in 2012 — an award bestowed to only five chefs from a pool of 75 local restaurants.

“I’ve fallen in love with the city and culinary scene in Dallas and I am beyond thrilled to call Uchi home again,” says Robison in a statement. “It’s an honor to be considered for the position and I can’t wait to be a part of the Uchi family once more.”

Robison starts at Uchi on Wednesday, January 6.
