Where to Party for NYE 2015

Let's ring in the new year.

There’s an abundance of places where you could welcome 2016 this New Year’s Eve. We’re here to help you narrow your selection.

If You’re Looking for Something Themed …

Head beneath The Joule Hotel to Midnight Rambler’s “mod bohemian dance party,” which will be accented with carefully crafted cocktails and music courtesy of DJs Wanz Dover, Ben White, and Travis Box. After 8:30 p.m., there will be a $25 cover charge. There will be a champagne toast at midnight and awards for best dressed and best dancing. Reserve a table by calling (214) 261-4601 or emailing [email protected].

Henry’s Majestic will host a Roaring ’20s-themed night with specials catered specifically to the evening. Reservations are recommended for dinner, and there isn’t a cover.

Addison’s Flying Saucer is hosting “Workout Fever,” an ’80s-themed dance party. Richard Simons-inspired spandex is welcome.

Swing in the new year at Sons of Hermann Hall with Austin’s Waller Creek Vipers. Advance tickets are $25.

Dress as a flapper, gangster, or silent film star (or don’t) for Henderson Tap House’s foray into 2016. There’ll be a champagne toast, photo booth and balloon drop at midnight, and bottle service is available. Take a look at the different packages here.

Deep Ellum’s Twilite Lounge is hosting its third annual Mardi Gras New Year’s Eve Bash. The party kicks off at 10 p.m., and there’s no cover.

Happiest Hour, one of Dallas’ 10 best new bars, is throwing a masquerade party. Dress in your best cocktail attire and don’t forget a mask! Tickets seem to be going quickly. If you’re interested, buy here.

If You’re Looking for Something Laid Back …

Henderson’s The Old Monk, as well as its sister pubs The Idle Rich Pub and Blackfriar Pub, is hosting a New Year’s Eve party, complete with a champagne toast and party favors.

Deep Ellum Brewing Company will host its second annual NYE bash, complete with jazz/swing-style bands, light bites, and displays of celebrations around the world on HDTVs throughout the room. Space is limited, so get your tickets here.

The historic South Side on Lamar could be your destination for the last night of 2016 at Checkered Past Winery’s NYE Party. The party kicks off at 9 p.m., and tickets are $30 per person.

If You’re Looking for Something Flashy …

Take in the Dallas skyline on the 33rd floor of W Dallas – Victory for “Stop the Clock.” Take a look at the evening’s packages here.

If You’re Looking for Something Denton …

Sure, it’s a drive. But if you find yourself north of Dallas, indulging in Denton’s laidback atmosphere and cheap drinks, consider Dan’s Silverleaf’s NYE With STARPARTY. (It seems there will also be a wedding.)

If You’re Looking for Something Not Offered Above …

Spend the evening at one of Dallas’ 10 best new bars. From cavernous dives to sleek, sophisticated sports bars, this list offers a range for varying tastes.
