This week is for the beer lovers. Halloween has come and gone, and what better way to soak up the festive fall air than to kick back with a couple of cold ones? Enjoy the beer weather while it lasts.

These barley-backed events will increase your knowledge of the ancient brew, and keep your taste buds happy, too. Cheers.

Wednesday, November 4

Peticolas Beer and Cheese Pairing
If you like beer and cheese, then you will love this event. Peticolas Brewing Company is hosting cheese monger, Ali Kay Hammer, and Rare Edibles for a boozy, cheesy evening to get you through that mid-week slump. Four beers will be provided along with eight cheeses. The intimate 50-person gathering will take place at Peticolas Brewing Company from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets cost $32.64 and can be purchased here.

Saturday, November 7

Untapped Festival Dallas
Even though the Texas State Fair has come and gone, the park isn’t done with you yet. Fair Park hosts the Untapped beer and music festival for the first time this year, welcoming more than 100 breweries and approximately 400 beers. 11 live musical acts, including The Flaming Lips, will perform throughout the day. The party starts at 2:30 p.m. and runs until 10:30 p.m. Ticket can be purchased here.

The Dallas Flea
Trinity Groves welcomes The Dallas Flea back this fall after a bigger-than-ever spring event. The bi-annual favorite returns to bring you handmade, vintage, and one-of-a-kind products from more than 140 Texas vendors. Come for the furniture, art, lighting, accessories, clothing (even dog clothing), and stay for the gourmet bites, live music, food trucks, and bar. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and entry costs $5.

Jester King Beer Breakfast
Get your morning started right at the Meddlesome Moth. Jester King Brewery is serving up five unique beers to complement the four-course breakfast courtesy of Chef Richard Graff. The boozy breakfast starts at 10 a.m. and costs $65 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (214) 628-7900. Hey, it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere.

Sunday, November 8

Windy Hills Farm Dinner at Small Brewpub
