Top Knot to Open Above Uchi in Early 2016

For months we’ve known that a new restaurant concept from the same folks behind Uchi is coming to Dallas. The unnamed concept has been under construction above the Uchi space at 2817 Maple Avenue since the popular Japanese restaurant first opened in June.

The owners announced today that the mysterious restaurant will be called Top Knot. According to the press release:

“The menu at Top Knot consists of shared small plates that give a playful nod to the restaurant’s downstairs sibling Uchi. The food will bring together flavors from across Asia and farther afield. Top Knot will open initially for dinner and a full bar offering, including beer, wine, and sake on tap and distinctive cocktails. Brunch and lunch will launch in subsequent months. Specific menus will be shared in the next few weeks.”
