Hidden Valley Creamery is a family owned and operated grade A goat milk dairy located northwest of Dallas in Argyle, Texas. All six members of the Thurston family help out with the business, from feeding and milking, to cleaning, and running the family store.

The goats are considered to be part of the family as well. They all have names and can be recognized by their different personalities. Per their website: “all are extremely loving, gregarious, friendly and sweet.” The Thurston’s believe that happy, healthy animals will translate into fresh, quality products. I couldn’t agree more.

The company currently sells drinkable yogurt, caramel sauces, fresh goat milk, and a few body products. The drinkable yogurt is my favorite. It is perfect for a quick and healthy breakfast. The yogurt comes in six flavors: cherry, blueberry, mango, berry blend, strawberry, and plain. All flavors are made with the same simple ingredients which include goat milk, organic fruit, non-GMO pure cane sugar, and a four culture blend including acidophilus and bifidus.

You can find Hidden Valley products at several farmers markets in the area, including the Coppell Farmers Market, Dallas Farmers Market, and White Rock Farmers Market. The products are also sold in a few stores throughout Dallas. Visit their website to see the full list of product locations and a calendar of farmers market days. Like them on Facebook for the most up-to-date info on products.
