Eddie Deen has been serving his famous Dallas-based barbecue at events all over the country for more than 30 years. The sauce was chosen at four gubernatorial and two presidential inaugurations.” Deen served more than 20,000 guests in 2001 and 2005 at both Presidential Inaugural Balls for George W. Bush. He also plated up his ‘cue at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake Cit, and fed more than 100,000 evacuees after Hurricane Katrina.
I love the taste of the sauce. It’s light on the sugar and heavy on the vinegar. It’s not thick and gooey like some barbecue sauces you come across. The consistency makes for a perfect pour over a slice of smoked brisket and specks of black pepper give it the perfect amount of spice.
The Deen’s also design custom labels to be used as gifts for you to use at events they cater.
