Local Press + Brew quietly opened next to Urban Acres in North Oak Cliff last month. Owners, Tiffany Vance and Ben Johnson, are passionate about coffee and juice, so it was a no-brainer to combine the two at their quaint and stylish juice bar and coffee shop.
The shop currently offers 14 varieties of organic and cold-pressed juices. Highlights include the Kessler Park made from pressed cucumber, celery, grapefruit, kale, parsley, and pear; The OC made from beets, carrots, green apples, orange, and turmeric; and The Day After, a mix of activated charcoal, alkaline water, lemon, and raw sugar cane juice.
Whether you’re new to juice, or just have a difficult time making decisions, the juice flight is a great way to taste a little bit of everything the shop has to offer. For $9 customers can select eight different options to sip on.
Other seasonal beverage options include the Beenana shake made with a banana, almonds, and bee pollen; Cocomaca shake with banana, coconut meat, lucuma, maca root, and a choice of juice; and kombucha.
In the mood for something caffeinated? Local Press + Brew offers a variety of coffee and espresso beverages. (The shop uses coffee beans from Noble Coyote Roasters, a small-batch roaster located in East Dallas.)
The shop carries a variety if vegan and gluten-free pastries from Reverie Bakeshop in Richardson.
Local Press + Brew is located at 1605 N. Beckley and open Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
