Theresa’s Old Fashioned Dill Pickle Dip will from here on out be your go-to contribution for summer pool parties and picnics. The cool, creamy texture and light, refreshing dill flavor is perfect for warm weather.

Theresa’s Old Fashioned Dip is a family recipe, passed on from Theresa herself to her son Jerry, who now (along with his wife and daughter), manufactures the product right here in Dallas. The dip recipe is a secret but we do know that it’s made from fresh ingredients.

For years, the family only made one flavor: original dill. But after several requests for a spicier version they began producing Jalapeño Dill Pickle Dip. Both dips are best served with corn chips, and I have found that the Jalapeño Dill Pickle Dip is a great base for a southwestern wrap. Just spread a thin layer on a flour tortilla, add some chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and salsa and you have the perfect lunch!

Both dips can be found at Jimmy’s Food Store on Bryan Street. To find out more about the product visit their website.
