Veteran restaurateur Michael Cox has decided to close OSO Food and Wine, the small Mediterranean restaurant he opened in early November 2014 in Preston Forest Shopping Center. “With great regret and sorrow I have decided to close OSO,” Cox writes in an email. “Tonight will be our final night of service.”

Chef Kelly Hightower’s menu received good reviews. Cox points to the location as the problem. “Unfortunately we were not able to gain a large enough audience to support the business,” Cox says.  “We are so sorry and heartbroken to close but we simply cannot afford to continue. My priority is to find employment for our incredible staff then focus on the details of closing the business.”
