Texas Youth Scholarship Organization hosts its third annual crawfish boil at the Barley House. The menu includes complimentary beer, Heads or Tails Cajun Crawfish, jambalaya, and live music. 100% of the proceeds go towards a scholarship for graduating high school seniors from the Dallas area. The Rosedale Group’s 6th annual Boil for the Brave will be held at The Rustic. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with live music by Petty Theft. The event has raised more than $75,000 since its inception, according to its Facebook page. The Rosedale Group says, “Year after year we are honored to have you attend our community crawfish boil to assist us with our Veteran Housing Rehabilitation program.” Tickets are available for $30 online here. Aw Shucks is hosting an an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil in its parking lot. The Lewisville location will prepare boiled shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes, and tons of crawfish for $25. The Salute to King Creole Crawfish Festival at Chicken Scratch and The Foundry is back. Chef Tim Byres will prepare all-you-can-eat Creole tastings. Expect a gumbo station, oyster bar, andouille sausage station, and a low country boil station of Cajun Crawfish Company crawfish that includes potatoes, sweet corn, herbs, and spices. Wash it all down with cold brews from Jim Beam Kentucky Fire and Deep Ellum Brewing Company. The event runs from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available online for $20 or $25 at the door.

The 2014 Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Leadership Class presents Crawfest: Claws for a Cause from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Four Corners Brewery. Enjoy all-you-can-eat crawfish and Four Corners beer for a good cause. This event is a fundraiser for the Food 4 Kids program at North Texas Food Bank. Denton’s Mudbug Boil takes place during the first Saturday in May. After raising more than $30,000 for local charities, it’s back for the 19th year.
