Our culinary adventure to the wilds of Alaska is filling up. Spaces on the exclusive D Magazine excursions are almost to their limits. We are set to sail the glamorous Celebrity Solstice from August 14-21. When I say we, I mean chefs Matt McCallister and John Tesar and TJ’s Seafood fish whisperer Jon Alexis.

The 7-day cruise will feature on-board private cooking demonstrations and discussions, as well as crabbing and foraging shore excursions. Just imagine harvesting salmon berries with Matt McCallister or eating fresh-from-the-water Dungeness crab with John Tesar or learning about salmon migration from Jon Alexis as the fish swim past your feet. If you’re up for a remote adventure, pack your binoculars and join me on a river rafting trip to the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve.

All of the details are here. You must call to sign up. Shoot me any questions. ([email protected])
