Join Garden Café chef, Mark Wootton, this Saturday at The Shed in the Dallas Farmers Market for a celebration of healthy, sustainable food.

“I’ll be shopping at the market and purchasing ingredients that day,” Wootton explained to me yesterday, “we’ll walk around [The Shed], and I’ll show how to plan a meal around the Dallas Farmers Market…”

Wooton will also prepare a meal from his findings at the market, and perform a cooking demonstration. He hasn’t decided on a specific recipe yet, but he says that “It’ll include a few sides, and will be vegetable-heavy… maybe three small portions of vegetables and then a small portion of meat.” Should be interesting to see what he comes up with.

The Eat Well, Dallas event is free and open to the public and runs from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
