Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar at 2626 Howell Street in Uptown will close its doors for good after dinner service on Saturday, March 28. The restaurant is also not moving forward with plans to expand, and open a location at the space at Shops of Highland Park (4262 Oak Lawn Avenue). “ I am grateful to my loyal guests and for the countless positive reviews and feedback; however, this concept is no longer what I wish to expand,” Dee Lincoln explains in an email.

The Fort Worth location (3280 West Seventh St.) in the Museum Place project that’s currently under construction will open as an upscale steakhouse instead of Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar. The Plano location will remain as is.
