Last October Nancy reported that Braindead Brewing was under construction on Main Street in Deep Ellum. Nearly five months later, the brewery and restaurant is ready to open its doors to the public.
The brewpub offers more than 25 regional beers on tap (including a few of their own brews), and a no-frills lunch and dinner menu. Highlights include the smoked turkey leg with apple beer gastrique and caramelized apples; roasted cauliflower with honey-curry vinaigrette, parmesan cheese, and green onions; and the 10, 2 and 4 Cuban with Dr Pepper glazed ham, stout mustard, beer pickles, and monterey jack cheese on a soft bolillo roll.
Braindead Brewing is located at 2625 Main Street and opens today for lunch at 11 a.m. Keep an eye on SideDish for a full look at the space and menu.
