Full disclosure: I met Jon Alexis long before he became a seafood pusher. I’ve know his parents, Pete and Caren, for nearly 20 years. I’ve watched Jon take their tiny family-owned seafood market and catering service and turn it into a thriving business with two locations. He is a relentless promoter of seafood and a smart businessman.

Today Jon debuts TJ’s Seafood Market‘s You Tube channel. On it you will find instructional videos to help you prepare seafood at home. Some of them are basic—“how to shuck an oyster”—while others demonstrate recipes such as ceviche. It’s a great resource guide for those who love to eat seafood, but are inexperienced at cooking it.
