You’ve been cramped up in your house for what must feel like months by now and things are starting to get a little uncomfortable. Well, we have a solution. And since tomorrow is bringing additional winter precipitation, which means the fever will rise again, you need to get out of the house tonight.

You are in luck because one of the coolest events this side of Jupiter is happening this evening at Lark on the Park. The crafty folks at the chic spot near Klyde Warren Park are hosting a Locals Only beer dinner.

It’s five courses, six beers, and each item is handpicked from one of our amazing local purveyors of food, drink and the like. Featuring beers from Martin House Brewing Co., Texas Ale Project, Lakewood Brewing, Rahr & Sons, and the new kid on the tap, The Collective Brewing Project. This night shall be all kinds of fine and dandy.

Dude, Sweet Chocolate is up in there, Ascension Coffee, as well as several other goods from local farmers. You would be absolutely out of your mind to miss this. And if you stay indoors again, you may just go out of your mind anyhow.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m., and tickets cost $75. Call (214) 855-5275 to make reservations.
